So you cannot prove they were illegal just as noone can prove Red Bull did anything untoward with their bib adjustment. Yet I don't hear you saying that Max has been driving a car with an illegal bib when he won his last 2 titles or the races at the start of the year....
What more proof do you want other than the fact that McLaren needed to change their wings?
Vanja provided you with enough pictures and explanations. A mini DRS has never been a gray area, but outright illegal. You should be happy for your team the FIA turned a blind eye for several races. Baku should have been Ferrari’s win.
If the wing was illegal, they would have been excluded from the race. They were not, therefore the wing was not illegal. Why is that SO hard for people to understand??
They did not "turn a blind eye", they tested it using the prescribed test criteria and it passed.
You specify the test something has to pass to be considered legal. It passes it. It is legal. That is not a complicated concept to understand.
Some people like to see conspiracies everywhere just to explain why their beloved team is no longer winning. Maybe Red Bull should have paid the caterers more again or gotten the Race Director to make up new rules and procedures on the fly again.
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.
