Lewis Hamilton has vowed to offer a $1million prize to anyone who can work out why the Mercedes W15 remains so inconsistent at this late stage of the F1 2024 season.
Vanja, Quantum, any thoughts? I say it's time we put our heads together for once...
Pretty hard to prove you have the right answer. I suggest the answer is undertray..... Contact me for funds transfer.... On the other hand, it might be camber change on bump.

Adding some fuel to the fires, in both of Hamilton's wins, Russell was either DNF or DSQ.
Feel like people also need to stop using Alonso as the standard for drivers over 40. He is very much the exception not the rule.
Spa they left Lewis out to dry, Not telling him Russell was in the frame for the win. Having tyre life left after every stint. Russell was 5th all race until he said fk it just keep me out.
You don't gamble when you are in the lead, of course Lewis pitted against Leclerc because a one-stopper was a gamble strategy. Lewis had fresher tires than George and hanging on his gearbox, so he just could have overtaken him for the win, but he couldn't do it until George was disqualified.

i think your forgetting just how bad the dirty air was in Spa, a lot of people couldnt/was very hard to overtake other cars. further proof from the fact that Lewis' pace fell a lot after he caught up to Russell. Piastri talked about how bad it was post race

Well, that's a bummer. If you have DRS and fresher tires, you can't say Lewis didn't have an advantage when George's tires were older than Biden. Time to look at the mirror. It's as if Lewis needs to know what kind of underwear George is wearing, or it's a conspiracy.

I'm not commenting on anything other than you saying Lewis should have just overtaken him, he simply couldnt because of dirty air, Russell also had no deg despite how old his tires were, its why he went for the one stop

So George drove quite well, and it's quite clear he won't hand over the win to Lewis because of the dirty air.

are we having the same convo? its not about whether he drove well or not, he did, my response was Lewis couldnt overtake due to dirty air and Russell showing no deg. i'll just stop responding cause this is pointless
Shov at 8:33 saying the COTA upgrades have a lot of the same issues as the ones before it and the upgrades werent meant to correct those issues but to increase the base performance, i think it was Vanja that pointed it out? seems like Merc were very much just chasing performance instead of correcting issues and giving the drivers a predictable and stable car, like Ferrari and Red Bull did when they went wrong.

Nobody had deg that day. That is why to me it was a fluke win and im glad it ultimately didnt count. Honestly even sainz could have won that race had he dared trying that strategy. It was nearly impossible to pass all day long

George is underrated. There is always an explanation when he is ahead of Lewis. At Spa, there were all sorts of excuses as to why he couldn't make the overtake with fresher tires, even though others did. It's hard to believe that this Lewis guy fought dirty against Rosberg for championships, but now it's just about complaining why George did this or that and where my red carpet is.

I hate adding to this rehash, but Lewis made several mistakes out of T1 that lost him ground to Russell that day, while Russell was excellent out of T1.

This Lewis guy has has only got 8* championships and recently won two races on merit. so, the language used is either a pure hater's language or, a drive to survive fan's.
