very good performance indeed today, but also in general over the past weeks. It wasn't long ago when the only team slower than them was the Sauber, and yesterday Gasly finished "best of the rest".

I thought I read somewhere that Enstone had 1,100 people previously. Now they're down to 800.

Could be possible. It's a strange situation. Either the team had many superfluous positions or there is a serious shortage of staff currently to complete basic work.

Or they were surplus to requirements. We don't know the departments they came from, but very often admin type departments can become very bloated.

Flavio said they kept all the racing elements and are now back to an organization like was Renault when he was managing it.

They are now 850 I believe

As I thought. Corporates are as bad as government when it comes to bloating departments with excess or irrelevant personnel and adding departments to do very little work of a specific type that was just handled as part of another group.
