It's hard to believe that this Lewis guy fought dirty against Rosberg for championships, but now it's just about complaining why George did this or that and where my red carpet is.
This Lewis guy has has only got 8* championships and recently won two races on merit. so, the language used is either a pure hater's language or, a drive to survive fan's.

Hamilton is the GOAT, I don't deny that. But when it comes to the present time, people have a hard time letting go of the fact that Lewis isn't in his prime anymore. His raw pace and aggressiveness are gone. Despite donating a victory to Lewis, George is going to be the first one to beat him 2-1. Underrating George is what's happening.

Lewis Hamilton has vowed to offer a $1million prize to anyone who can work out why the Mercedes W15 remains so inconsistent at this late stage of the F1 2024 season.
As Aston is having similar issues maybe it's something they both share. Wind tunnel?

No clue. But perhaps they lack something on the tunnel which McLaren apparently has.

Adding some fuel to the fires, in both of Hamilton's wins, Russell was either DNF or DSQ.

Feel like people also need to stop using Alonso as the standard for drivers over 40. He is very much the exception not the rule.
Only wins mattered this year.

We got two historic races. Silverstone and Spa!!

Two more wins onto the tally was more than most expected this year.

Beating George means nothing in the grans scheme of things when the car is nothing better than the 2010 W01

If he can sneak one more win or a couple more podiums before year end it will still be a year of resolution and "purging" saving his strength for Ferrari!!

The car is trash.

The traces show it cannot brake as hard as the previous spec and Lewis just not adjusting to that.

I'm just really glad that George didn't go away with too many points. He was sixth was it?

It's important that team LH finishes in front of George this season and by enough that you don't get this points in three years crap that they did form Jenson Button.

Sweeping statement. WILL be chasing the 8th? I'm not as sure as you.
Have you got the excuses ready for the possibility it doesn't work out?
We could dust off these ones for 2025....

A: Sabotage bro!
B: LeClerc favouritism
C: The car sucks

Ferrari are certainly looking more likely to compete than Mercades. Ferrari's car might suit him better also.

Doubt he will be going for an 8th. wish him the best though, 8 great constructors titles he helped us achieve, will be a Merc legend for a long long time.

Year after, 2026 Regulation cars don't suit him.

He is not getting any younger and is already struggling with his raw pace. Leclerc is a qualifying specialist like Russell, and giving him a handicap of a few places on the grid is not going to help him fight for the championship. Leclerc is the real deal and is the toughest obstacle in the championship. Hamilton's strength is the mental side; he does not break in the middle of a championship fight.

I think 2026 cars should be in the direction closer to lighter and less ground effect so it hould suit a more natural driving style. It should suit Mercedes better too.

Torger Christian Wolff opens up on the 1+1 contract, says "Everyone has a shelf-life":
I like the situation (Lewis leaving for Ferrari). It helps us because it avoids the moment where we need to tell the sport’s most iconic driver that we want to stop.

There’s a reason why we only signed a one-plus-one-year contract. We’re in a sport where cognitive sharpness is extremely important, and I believe everyone has a shelf life. So I need to look at the next generation.”

It’s the same in football. Managers like Sir Alex Ferguson or Pep Guardiola. They anticipated it in the performance of their top stars and brought in junior players that drove the team for the next years.

Hamilton telling the engineers they have it wrong and he wants it done like this?

You'd have thought Toto was talking about himself, given Lewis has multiple wins this year and had to have things like sabotaged races in Singapore just for George to even get a sniff of leading him in the WDC in his worst year in F1 ever.

Car designers don't know what they're doing.

Mechanics/engineers can't set up the car and/or keep building parts of it incorrectly on one of their cars and forcing pit lane starts.(George better hope they're not doing his car next year!)

Team principal has basically been irrelevant for years.

Current lead driver can only barely manage to beat Lewis in his worst ever year in F1.

Hoping for a rookie to replace Lewis.

Not looking good for Mercs shelf life, tbh.
