It really took Peter Prodromou quite some time at McLaren, another example is Pete Machin, who failed as Head of Aero at Renault, Dan Fallows is a further example where the work in the Red Bull environment was very successful but failed at another team.JordanMugen wrote: ↑19 Nov 2024, 07:47Of course. It's baffling why Fallows has struggled so much to bring effective updates to Aston Martin Racing!101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑15 Sep 2024, 09:22What I’m reluctant about is: AM is so far back so any improvement in the short term is credit that will only be given to AN as “it must be his work”. In reality that wont be the case. IMHO you can only ascribe anything to Newey from ‘26 on. And I’m sure that’s where the focus will be.
I don't remember Peter Prodromou being anything but the head of aero at McLaren until recently. Even now, he's a lower case td(Shares the job with others).
