It was always gonna be Merc on pole, Gasly using his joker card so 2-4 is excellent. They simply have to aim for a win and a double podium, if not 1-2. Too bad for Lecerc's S1, but 2nd row is still great

Leclerc just couldn't get those tires in the right window. A shame about his S1. But P2 and P4 are very solid positions, especially since the cars in front should have less pace than Ferrari.

Props to Sainz for the clean lap, let's get a good haul over McLaren tomorrow.

Looks like Carlos' new PU gave him 1-1.5 tenths on the straights against Charles.

Pole doesn't seem important though, it's another long run to T1.

Looked like over 2 tenths across the lap actually. If it carries over to race pace, and no reason it won't, he's gonna have an easier time getting the win no doubt. I expect he'll attack Russell into T14 on first lap actually
