darn

I was hoping Renault will get rid of that mellow yellow colour altogether - guess they must not have "that" time to re-paint the whole car with some different colour

anyway, ING's colours were very dull-looking; good they are pulling out

Weather forecasts for Singapore City suggest that heavy rain could fall on the Marina Bay street circuit over the course of all three days of this year's race weekend.

With Singapore being the only race on the calendar to be run at night, Formula One fans and insiders alike pondered the possibility of rain last year and the subsequent vision problems which could arise as a result of the floodlights' glare mixing with the water droplets on drivers' visors.
I hope this will not ruin the race.

Alonso in Ferrari: ci siamo.

FERRARI.

Come dire: grazie e arrivederci.

Here's the direct google translation copy/pasted..

Alonso in Ferrari to be announced soon

Alonso to Ferrari: we. Luca di Montezemolo continues, between jokes and allusions, to anticipate the tsunami that will affect the market drivers in Formula 1. And according to sources close to Maranello the announcement could come Sunday night in that of Singapore. No later than next Tuesday.

FERRARI. "I have often heard talk of a Spanish rider very important and when one hears about it so well, there will be something true." Having already confirmed Felipe Massa and have put in the balance the permanence of Kimi Raikkonen for 2010, Luca Di Montezemolo put it on the front of humor. But what he says is heavy: "We are delighted to have the Santander as sponsor, we have many fans in Spain and we'll have more next year, with Alonso. No, sorry, with Raikkonen. Or are we dealing with a wag of cosmic dimensions. Or is it true the rumors that give close to the official announcement of recruitment of Fernando Alonso from Ferrari. "It 'a great driver, it's strong, he's temperament and personality, knows how to work for the team and knows how to convey his impressions to improve the performance of the machine," he told Spanish journalists hungry during the prize Leyenda in Madrid.

Kimi Raikkonen. Alonso arrives, Raikkonen party. Destination McLaren. Or Brawn GP. "It 'a unique character. It 'very nice, never talks - said the president, referring to the Finnish Ferrari - A great driver, honest and faithful, the only one to have won a world championship in his first year with Ferrari. Even if the pilots pass, but Ferrari remains. How to say thanks and goodbye. One can not help anyone. But, obviously, not the phenomena. No accident that the leadership of Maranello made false papers to get Alonso and is still taking a payroll Michael Schumacher. Just Schumacher, year-end 1995, gather broad disagreements among Ferrari fans. He was accused of being unfair, unfair, recommended. How did it end as we all know. This, however, be sure, we'll talk.

 Kova and Grosjean are doing the "Piquet". Best "Piquet" guarantees a drive in Renault next season. Grosjean is winning.

Great footage showing Bob Bell on the pitlane having a little giggle & shake of the head as he saw the Grosjean's turn 17 crash being replayed on his screens..

the irony wasn't lost on him either!

It showed that Piquet's crash was no accident, because he would have hit the wall like Grosjean did.

the Brawns, RedBull and Maccas look strong.. too bad we haven't seen what the Ferraris can really do..
