Mekies has something to say:
Reactionary much ? It was one race. What are they head to head all time?

Lawson is certainly doing better in his first dozen races than Tsunoda did in 2021
2026 AM will be Alonso/Stroll. 2027 onwards while possible it is very unlikely for Yuki in my opinion, Yuki/Stroll driver pairing is way too weak for the ambitions of the team, and Stroll is unlikely to be dropped. I see someone like Verstappen as much more likely than Yuki in AM or even Alonso staying a bit longer. But I can be wrong of course.
Ah, so qualifying P3 in Brazil doesn't count? In those conditions, he put it together. That wasn't lost on some people actually.Waz wrote: ↑25 Nov 2024, 08:19What Red Bull are looking for is the ceiling for a Perez replacement. Checo has been bad this year, but during his career from early he was capable of a giant killing performance once or twice a year in a midfielder car.
Ricciardo showed he may have had that spark still with his Miami Sprint effort, but being an experienced race winner, they obviously expected that a couple more times after.
Gasly just put an Alpine on the podium and followed that with a 3rd in Qualifying. He won race with Alpha Tauri.
And he's a Red Bull reject.
Reality for Yuki is that he has never shown those unexpected sparks. Liam might still, but it's not looking that likely.
Which is where Colapinto enters the chat. He's shown some surprises in a Williams and is rumoured to have caught the eye of Checo's sponsors.
I thought Stroll had a contract only for 2025, my mistake.KimiRai wrote: ↑28 Nov 2024, 02:512026 AM will be Alonso/Stroll. 2027 onwards while possible it is very unlikely for Yuki in my opinion, Yuki/Stroll driver pairing is way too weak for the ambitions of the team, and Stroll is unlikely to be dropped.
