The hard will be the chosen race tyre surely?
Mclaren, maybe? Their drivers have has a lot of off-track moments. They need to settle that car. I would have to think both drivers have floor damage from the gravel excursions.
Merc are just slow as hell, Toto said their 1 sec off the pace and have to analyse why before quali.venkyhere wrote: ↑29 Nov 2024, 17:56Ferrari is using the new floor and are damn fast. Looks like it's giving them 1s advantage in race pace over McLaren. SF-24 is on rails, even in T15 where everyone is going off. Of course its FP but I don't see any evidence of engine-mode sandbagging from anyone. Redbull is nowhere. Mercedes, I don't want to even try inferring anything, don't know how to read that car's behavior
Merc (slow), Mclaren (drivers couldn't stay on track), Red Bull (slow) are nowhere. Ferrari looks like a rocketship on the track where they said they didn't expect higher than P5Luscion wrote: ↑29 Nov 2024, 18:08Merc are just slow as hell, Toto said their 1 sec off the pace and have to analyse why before quali.venkyhere wrote: ↑29 Nov 2024, 17:56Ferrari is using the new floor and are damn fast. It's been an impressive Friday for expectations...
When I read stuff like this I realize drivers aren't paid to be smart.organic wrote: divebombs back on the menu. Seems drivers don't mind the verstappen style of overtake, so long as you can "keep it on track"
