Their pace was dreadful earlier but they seem to be on top of things right now. Might also be track conditions changing.
The prep lap is absolutely crucial with these (garbage) tyres. That’s just how the car is. Both of the drivers did well today, neither of them made huge errors. Ultimately, they were fighting a car which is currently not well balanced and the track conditions are working against them. I imagine it's a lot easier for us to be disappointed than it is for them to execute the lap.
