I think Yuki probably deserves it.
His pace I think if good enough to warrant ti but the pressure of being Max's team mate I would be concerned about.I think even now it has been the one little issue with Yuki at VCarb let alone what it would be like at RBR against the team pressure and Max. But admit he probably deserves a chance sink or swim.

yuki expected to play supporting role and be no2 ,so the real pressure is on Max the leader to produce results .if you look at second half of season the pressure got to Max and he started making mistakes tangling with lewis and loosing it on the radio in hungary for example.yuki put that vcardbox 0.2 of Max and splitting the Mclarens so in terms of q3 entries he has done a better jop than checo on a fast car , so i think if he start far ahead on the grid he will do a better jop because first phase of racing is about tire and fuel saving.redbull are afraid yuki may harbor ambition.it took Max 2 season to be ahead of daniel so gasly and albon were never given enough time to develop .yuki strength is his aggressiveness he is not tentative he has proven he can drive difficult cars ,so i think he can manhandle that redbull.
But also was somthing I read from Rosberg after he retired. Part of the issue of people Lewis's team made was just how natural it all came to him. It felt like he had to work very hard to find somewhere where he was better than Lewis. But as soon as he did Lewis worked hard to fix that weakness. It was a very mental problems. I think that takes a very big toll on people. If Yuki can handle that its great for him. I think he probably deserves that chance (though it seems Lawson is the fav to get it ) but it would be the concern I would have with Yuki.
The car became difficult to drive. It’s a shared responsibility.Jurgen von Diaz wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 17:07What on earth, Checo? You are not responsible for points on WCC while your teammate brings the WDC home?
Every year at this point.
Yes, that have brought 2 to try out
So tired with those sorry people that keep bringing up 2021 as if that whole season only consisted of a single race. Bah.Farnborough wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 17:50This, a quote from GR I understand
"After accusing Verstappen of bullying behaviour amid an escalating row between the pair at the scene of that infamous title decider three years later, Russell claims the Dutchman would have handled the defeat very differently to Hamilton.
"I think he's been enabled [to bully] because nobody has stood up to him,” Russell told media including Crash.net.
“Lewis stood up to him in 2021 and Lewis lost that championship unfairly. Could you imagine the roles being reversed? Max losing that championship in the manner of how Lewis lost that championship? I mean, [Michael] Masi would be fearing for his life.
“And the way Lewis dealt with that championship fight, he was hard, he was aggressive, he was always respectful, and he never went beyond the line.”
And completely missing the fact that LH did really do this, put MV into the wall.
He hasn't denied what Verstappen accused him of. If he is going to take such cheap shots, imo he has already lost the plot.Farnborough wrote: ↑05 Dec 2024, 19:33Certainly I don't feel anyone is perfect, to project that view would be nonsensical.
But clearly there's now a latent and embedded record in GR's mind that's now being publicly delivered to "prosecute" MV in accordance with his personal view.
Forgetting here, that it was FACTUALLY evident that LH fans did in fact offer threat to Massi in that incident.
It should, emphatically not be part of this discussion now.
GR also, in that year, committed common assault against a possibly injured Valteri Bottas. His behavior against MV now is at best inexcusable.
It's not his place to play judge and jury.
