Last time McLaren won the construction championships I was 8 years old. Can't count how many ups and downs I have seen but I still stand here and wishing at least a few more.

Congrats for the Team and the drivers as well next year we attack again

So much for the Mclaren suddenly becoming slow because of the rear wings. Fastest car at 3 out of the last 4 races bar rain and a penalty delivered by second class mail.
Let them focus on meaningless details. Rivals will always find excuses when they can't beat them on track. And frankly, it's understandable that they must feel pretty sh*t for McLaren to come out of nowhere and overtake everyone in just 2 well-executed seasons.

Well-deserved title. It had been too long since the last one. Now they have to start fast from the get-go next season and try to get the other one.

The championship is dedicated to the naysayers trying to frame the team with Water Tyres, Mini DRS, retractable wheels and customer weaknesses.

"Water in the tires", "Flexible rear wing", dominant race win only made stressful because Verstappen did one of his "I go through or we crash".

Congrats to the team and all McLaren fans on this thread. We have survived horrible years at which we were the backmarkers of the grid. A couple of years ago we were back, being able yo fight for podiums and an occasional victory. This year I would had been happy if we could just take some wins, to be in the championship fight next year. But the team did an amazing job building a fantastic car for our drivers much sooner than I dared to hope for. We did it! Finally, after all those years, we are a top team again. Formula One Champions! YEAHHHH!!!

I was in high school last time we were champions back in 1998 at age 15. I am now 40 with a accounting job. How time passed.

Superb! Thoroughly deserved, flawless drive from Lando to seal it. Been a long wait, and well overdue, but Constructors Champions 2024. Who would have thought in Bahrain? Amazing. =D>

Zak needs to review Andrea Stella's contract and make sure there is no way out for him

What a hidden gem of a person. I don't think McLaren is where they are today without Andrea taking the TP role last year.

Yeeeeeeeeeeebooooooyy! McLaren are champions! Hooray! It's finally happened! Let those who didn't believe that Mac and Miami have regained their spirit and speed bite them.

Lando and Oscar! You are great! Thanks to Zak, thanks to Andrea. Thanks to everyone on the team who was able to design and build such a magnificent car.

What a comeback. A 3rd car with more than 5 tenths behind to be equal in just 6 GPs and getting a championship when the target was to get a few wins.

I am so stressed! Oh the relief, the Champion Overtake on lap one really added tension to what probably should have been a 1-2 finish and a boring race. I'd happily take a boring race thanks if it meant cursing to the WCC. So much bad luck this season - Bottas had no luck all year, Oscar was royally screwed over, Gasly deserved better and really starred in the second half. Lawson outclassed his more experienced teammate today and it was for nothing - and probably nobody will remember his drive.

Finally, now we have the title and there's no hint of sour grapes - the current FIA since Todt retired is rubbish. Now His Majesty is attempting a power grab and everyone who disagrees is fired. The 2026 regulation changes will destroy the level playing field so it will be back to likely domination. Oh well..... Let's enjoy it while we have it.

26 years. Amazing feeling right now, especially after enduring the Honda era depths. A false dawn in 2021 and the disappointment of 2022. To win the constructors with a customer engine, I don’t think even RedBull achieved it in the hybrid era.

Nice to see that lando made it up for the previous race.

Hats off to everyone in the team. 👏👏👏

Exactly as Lando said last week after the yellow flag mistake "I'll make it up to the team next week" and so he did.
