Once you are in top team, there is pressure to perform. Also considering Lawson to be a rookie or with less than 1 year experience and over that being Max teammate, the pressure is insane. you require matured driver for that seat.
Expecting lot of crashes and divebombs..
Max is only 27 years old and he will be RBR no. 1 driver for as long as RBR can keep him.
And I think RBR is not actively seeking to find a driver to replace Max at the moment, but a reliable 2nd driver to compliment and support Max and RBR to win races and championship.
Lawson is only 22, he still has got a bright future ahead so it may not be a good thing to play 2nd fiddle at such a young age because over time he and F1 fans will get use to him finishing 2nd, just like Bottas in Merc.
