From what someone else said in the previous thread, Lawrence Stroll was furious with the Imola update, and Fallows alluded that he was checked out from the team since summer. His demotivation was only more the reason to let him go as he wasn't going to be dependable in a smaller role.Sevach wrote: ↑01 Jan 2025, 12:24This is the weird part of booting Fallows, even if he wasn't fantastic on his own we know he works well helping translate Newey's ideas into a car.
But maybe there's more beyond that, it wouldn't be easy to go back to the role he held at RBR after being tech chief... so let's see the new structure.
With this massive new set up and infrastructure, the cash burn rate for the team will be very high and this will add tremendous pressure for the staffs to deliver result in 2025. Unlike Redbull, where the energy drink companies are making huge profit, AM as a car manufacturer is actually still in red, so its unsure how long Lawrence Stroll can bankroll this team or if he has plan to sell the team eventually. Perhaps to Saudis.-wkst- wrote: ↑01 Jan 2025, 11:39Happy new year!
Sim is online, Tunnel will go online now. Once both are 100% operational, which will need some time according to Krack, they have the best tools available.
Hopefully the technical structure will be clear soon, without power struggles and stuff like that, which complicates creativity and ultimately results.
But the increase in stuff is huge, over 200 people increase in 2023 (740 employees in 2023). Now they talk about nearly 900 staff members. That needs good management.
Hopefully they have learned their lesson on unnecessary hype for the past 2 seasons. Expecting more matured and responsible statements from the team.!Technical wrote: ↑02 Jan 2025, 04:43Really hope there is less talk and more results from this team this year.

I dont think thats too bad. He also mentions in the same conversation shutting down after summer for 2026 and the aspirational goal for 2025 to be joining the top 4 fight, so clearly he's not too excited. I dont know what he means when he says they were too eager to bring updates. Did they not test them properly? Sounds very vague and like they still dont now where they went wrong. Hopefully the newcomers arent as clueless.abhi1200 wrote: ↑02 Jan 2025, 08:45you can check once Again Mike Krack Imagination of Encouraging Number in wind Tunnel for AMR 25.collindsilva wrote: ↑02 Jan 2025, 07:30Hopefully they have learned their lesson on unnecessary hype for the past 2 seasons. Cardile starts before Newey right? I hope they find good chemistry right away.

We will never know, i just think it's odd that they could've replicated a structure that Red Bull had for years but chose to pass on it.mclaren111 wrote: ↑02 Jan 2025, 12:59
I read somewhere that Newey doesn't get along with Fallows... Not sure how accurate the info is...
