Agreed on Giovanazzi - I always thought he was quick in F1, especially over one lap; he seemed to be getting race pace on track just as he was leaving too and that practice crash in the Haas at Austin wasted his final shot. He’s strong in WEC though and suspect Ferrari still value him highly.
So far they have just said the mechanics are working to fix the car to make it ready for Leclerc this afternoon. In all seriousness hopefully it doesn't affect him too much mentally. He was feeling low at the end of 2024 like never in his career and the idea was to ‘rejuvenate’ with Ferrari and the change of team so I hope the crash doesnt tax him too much.
