Daytona 24

In the GTP Class...more ICE CCs is still a factor.

In 2025 Acura needs a bigger ICE.

In the WEC Hypercars with AWD and two electric motors it isn't as much a factor.

Nissan Should only purchase the Renault % of shares of Nissan, not the 18.7% French Trust part!!!
And over time buy back the French Trust part.

Renault is trying to play hardball with Nissan by asking top dollar because they think Honda will pay it.

Honda should help Nissan with it's cash flow by purchasing the Mitsubishi shares from Nissan.
That will give Nissan the needed cash to buy back it's own shares from Renault.

This probably is the 🗝️ key of keeping Mitsubishi in the New Deal.

Aston Martin Leader stated they need a manual transmission.
That is another reason to partner with Honda.
Honda is known for making great manual transmissions.😉

Honda must be in full control of the merge( Honda/ Nissan company).
Nissan upper management must be replaced ( retired early).
If not then Honda needs to walk away from Nissan and look at Mitsubishi.

Honda needs to walk away from the Nissan Merge if the reports are true.
Nissan wants to be equal partners in the new company.
That shows how defective they are as a leader of a Company. They used the Japanese Government to get control of Nissan and bankrupt the company running it.

Honda probably needs to run as fast as they can from Nissan.
Look into Mitsubishi to merge and not for their products but mostly for the manufacturing plants and their people. It would help to because of their business group( Mitsubishi).
Raw materials
Mitsubishi Heavy
Mitsubishi Electric
Banks
Would be key with electronics, eVTOL and Space 🚀 rockets.

Honda partnering with Aston Martin with Halo Automobiles would be a smart and profitable move. Just look at Ferrari profits.
Aston Martin would benefit from Honda with more efficient manufacturing and everyone knows Honda is the ICE Manufacturer. Sometimes they get lost because they go to conservative or depend on proven old tech for too long. They forgot they was always leaders with new technology but they was very good making it reliable. When they fail, they bow their heads and fix ASAP no matter the cost.
Mr Honda Way!!!

Looks like Honda have gone off the merger idea. Also I had no idea Nissan was worth so little currently.

A proposed $58 billion merger to create the world’s fourth-largest carmaker appears on the verge of collapse after Honda made an unexpected proposal to turn Nissan into a fully owned subsidiary, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Nissan’s weak financial performance has led to its market capitalization collapsing to a fifth of Honda’s, skewing the balance of power in negotiations.

The way I see it is they announced the merger too soon. They should have kept quiet and waited until the stock became too low for Renault to hold onto. So now it looks like a break up is the only way to make Renault move to sell their shares. The merger talks sent the stock up and gave reason for Renault to hold onto it. Better to just let Nissan fail now and rise from the ashes like GM did. And fire the top 5 Nissan execs as they are dimwits. Nissan on average has smarter new hires from better Universities than Honda, just that Honda has more passionate gear heads. Nissan designs are also polarizing yet Honda's are a tad too conservative. A merger of their designs wouldn't be a bad thing. Nissan also has been working longer than most car manufacturers on smart home technology and should refocus on that with Hondas at-home hydrogen charging concepts.

Honda might still get what they need from Nissan at a much cheaper price now.
Merge of both companies without Nissan top Leaders.
A future Yen ☯️ Yang Balance ♎ Company.

Or just the parts they need.

Honda needs to still move their HQ out of Tokyo and to the country side before 2027.
For the betterment of the Japanese People and the Japanese Government would probably help financially with the move because they need to get their people out of the cities and back to the country.
Only sales outlets should be in any major urban areas.

Backup plan to next backup plan.

Honda purchase the Mitsubishi Motor shares from Nissan?
Mitsubishi Motors becoming a partner of Honda.

Honda partner with Aston Martin with Sports Cars ( too smart of a move).

Take a wait and watch with Nissan and if they fail then negotiate for needed assists from them?

Totally agree. Get them closer to Wako and Tochigi. Re-polulate Saitama. And hire more Japanese Americans who inevitably are an asset they should be relying on more. Hire them from the US and give them housing and strong communities with good schools to raise their families.
