Lewis and Charles did interviews with Sky Italia afterwards and seemed pretty happy, Charles saying nothing went wrong, there were no bad feelings or numbers they didnt expect. Lewis was asked how it feels, said hes very excited happy and having a great time (just talking about in general) , the car is fine, It's still early and he can't say much yet, but today they had no problems.

Between Leclerc saying he would find the season disappointing if they didn't win a title and Hamilton saying that the team has every ingredient to win, objectives are high. No point aiming to underachieve or play the underdog.

Correct. Ferrari finished P2 in the WCC last year. Not fighting for both championships would be very disappointing.

Agreed.
They finished with an equal speed than world champions, so this year the only goal is to fight for both championship.
Lower than that will be a failure.

And a classic Ferrari / Mclaren battle would be a perfect way to end this era, with a bit spice from Verstappen on top of it

Totally normal imo. Even under normal circumstances, one expects Ferrari to challenge for the title. This season in particular, given how last year ended as well, of course they would be disappointed if they didn’t win at least one of the championships.

Saying that from Charles shows some change of character or at least some change of attitude for Ferrari.

I can't remember a recent time in which one of the drivers set goals like that in front of press before even pre-season testing began. We were mostly in body language reading mode with Binotto, and how slow or fast he moved from the Ferrari to the Haas pits in bahrain.

You can really only do this if the whole team knows this is a goal they have and have signed up for it, or it will cause unhappiness and I don't think Charles is the unhappiness guy.

To seemingly have such confidence before a wheel has even turned in anger is strange to me.
Every pre-season of the ground effect era Mercedes had supposedly created a great car only for their pre-season confidence to quickly vanish over the opening few races.
Who knows Leclerc might be right, Ferrari may have finally cracked it for this season

Crazy train?

Two out of ten 2025 cars have broken their covers but Ferrari are now going to win one of the two titles.
What will happen if Verstappen is on pole by 4 tenths in Australia?

Nobody has even said that, Charles said he'd be disappointed if they didnt and people are surprised he's that confident

Lewis who is known to be a pessimist can't stop smiling and says he gets on well with the car.

I will never have excitement until Australia   :) :D :D :D :D

Five out of 10(McLaren/Williams/Haas/Ferrari/VCARB).
