I wonder if Cowell coming in has put a lid on the team as there have been very few leaks this offseason. Or it could be that there just isnt much to report.

I guess everyone in the team knows quite well now how it feels when an update doesn't bring the lap time the simulations predicted. Every team seems to be very cautious with predictions or statements, except Ferrari. But it wouldn't be the first time the italian hype train goes off the rails...

I found the following statement of Cowell very good:
“Last year, 248 new people joined Aston Martin Formula 1 team,” Cowell said.

“It’s those people and all the existing people that together, working as a team, will create this great race car.

“Individuals like Adrian have got a great insight into the total car, but it’s all of us working together that will deliver a great car.”
It's not only Newey, Newey, Newey - like the media love to write of fans want to believe. With such an attitude the team will never deliver a winning car. There are hundreds of engineers, who will profit from Newey in the correct working environment.

Eric Blandin updated his linkedin profile:

Aerodynamics Director
Jan 2025 - Present

Deputy Technical Director
Jul 2022 - Dec 2024

So he is the new head of the aero department (factory).

I wonder where Ian Greig (their Head of Aerodynamics) fits now into that structure.

Has anyone really noticed how the London car is different from amr24 and even amr23? But it doesn't look like a show car though

If true, it maybe launch spec and we can expect heavily modified B spec after 4 to 5 races...

Remember who we are in this forum and who has been here in the worst moments, together. Because it's easy to get on the bandwagon when everything is going well then👀
Please, none of this personal BS. And no gatekeeping. If you want a fan forum, find one. This ain’t it.

Newey is going to get all the credit if AMR25 shows any competitiveness even if he has limited or no inputs. Like it or not, that's how it goes.

Even the unofficial leaks seem to be low, not just public statements. Sometimes anonymous sources and rumors and sometimes people like De la Rosa talking unofficially to Spanish journalists that would get reported.
