I'm curious about this double metal stay that go from the gearbox structure into the sidepod and then down to the floor. I wonder why they have gone to a double.
McLaren really went the long yard on that suspension, both front and rear.
Looks like larger transition radii rounding off the sides of the diffuser kicks

Hazard a guess at weight savings. The floor layup might be quite thin, and the risk is it flapping under speed.
