Let's hope that the good balance will be translated to reasonable racepace/tyre wear at least.

The race pace of Verstappen is not that bad. Only 2 tenths slower than Norris. Australia is a weak track for Red Bul. I can see them competetive in other places.

Redbull is the team with the most updates .i still think they are going to throw everything on these year knowing 2026 would be difficult so i still have my money on max for champ.it will be sill to dismiss them they were pioneers in these regulation change and every car is a copy of them .the car is still handful.

Good recovery but mclaren is far ahead, 4 tenths. Car is still nowhere in S3, losing 3 tenths in there consistently. Tomorrow mclaren will be in cruise mode.

They cut much downforce compared to yesterday, not sure it'll pay off in tomorrow rain...

PS is it me or this forum is having serious problems in loading ?

I do think the car has more pace than it shows in sector 3, the tyres overheat and Max loses all grip in the final 2 corners, if the tyres do hold on, I think Max could have been within 0.1-.150.

RB21 loses 4 tenths in just the final 2 corners, shows that the MCL is the only car holding on to their tyres. George Russell in correct in saying the MCL knows something about the tyres that the other simply don't.

1. RB21 might suffer with high tyre wear throughout the season. The 'nowhere in S3' is because tyres were already burnt up in two sectors. This might help in the rain, but as soon as a dry line forms, can start to affect back again.
2. Considering how friday finished, 4 tenths off the McLarens isn't that bad.

can someone please confirm what was the floor that was used ? there were camera shots of the floor edge in the telecast, but I couldn't figure out whether it was the 'rejected new floor' from bahrain or the 'old floor' ?

lol, they removed the rear wing and said "well Max, now it's up to you"

could it be that they manage to recover some magic DRS, maybe also with flexi wing ? anyway I'm not seeing a Brazil 2.0 on the radar for tomorrow...

Red Bull may end up regretting not signing Yuki. Lawson is nowhere. It was deer in the headlights during his interview. Hope he can pull it together. Great job from Max.

I think Yuki would have done better but also be behind his time in the VCARB.
The RB21 is probably not hard to drive, but i suspect it has Max's DNA built into it over the years and other drivers need time to get used to understanding how to set these Max cars up.
I think Lawson will inprove with getting more seat time and learning all the Max language to pull the right levers to get the performance.

All the guys that had continuity with their machines qualified better. Charles has a very differenr car so is on the backfoot.
Liam should catch up, but I do agree that Yuki was the more promising choice to be in RB21.
For Sure!!
