2nd red flag with Glock also shunting. I hope nothing serious has happened to him.

Wow not a lot of runoff around Suzuka. Bad news for Torro Rosso to see both their cars crash of at the same corner.

Stupid SpeedTV! I hate the fact that they delay quali! Right now they've just shown Algersuari going off and the iPhone app I have is actually live. This sucks, I have to sit here and watch bullshit commercials at 1:45 in the morning when no one is awake to be coerced into buying crap and there is F1 to be watched!

Ouch, a bad crash?
Is it power-steering failure?

Glock gave a thumb up when they took him away. His chassis may be broken according to Sky commentators. I am not sure that this is really the case.

They are saying on SpeedTV the medical car had to go all the way around the track to get to Glock. Is that true? And if it is WTF is that ---?

Also they were showing that the wheel was turned but the front tires were not, and right before he hit the wall the wheel was at 90 degrees and the wheels were straight. May be a steering failure.

EDIT: Nevermind. They showed a comparison with Fisi and his steering wheel versus slip angle and there appears to be no difference. False alarm. Sorry.

It was only three hours ago that I made my comment that this looks like a dangerous circuit. Seems prophetic under that circumstances. Modern drivers have got used to exquisite safety.

He was turning and just wandered off the track. I did not see any obvious steering failure.

ref the medical car, I am fairly sure that there are more than 1 based around the place and that they cannot go around the track the wrong way regardless of the incident. I guess there was a econd car, halfway around, that came to visit Timo.

During a red flag that is completely unacceptable. They should be allowed to go backwards in this case. Trulli and Glock were the only two out there and the closest medical car should take any avenue to get to them. NASCAR was critisized for Edwards crash at Talladega and F1 can't have a medical car go backwards but instead has to drive halfway around a racetrack? That's the absolutely stupidest thing I've ever heard.
