Kimi Raikkonen says he is yet to decide if he will continue racing in Formula 1 next year after it was announced he will not be at Ferrari.

"For the moment, I haven't decided what I want to do next, whether I want to continue racing or not. I had a contract for next year, but now I don't, so that changes things. So maybe I race, maybe I do not."

NOOOOOOO. We need the Iceman. He leaves f1 it will be a travesty!

travesty indeed!
and ousted for pint sized matador.

funny how the wheel turne though. Schumacher was pushed out by Monte, to make way for Raikkonnen. Now Raikonnen is pushed to make way for the little squirt.

Thats just the way things work at Ferrari. Raikonnen will be back next year, and I'm betting it will be with McLaren but a birdy whispered that theres some wheeling going down to get his butt into a Brawn Mercedes GP002/10.

So if rosberg has an option with Brawn, the its likely that Rosberg will end up at McLaren and Kimi will work for Ross. 8)
And Ross has kept the 2nd seat at Brawn nicely out of the lime light which can only mean that something big is going down

As a Kimi fan, I really do not want to see Kimi frustrated again driving a cursed car.
well, at least kimi wont have team mate juan pablo crashing into the back of his car!!!

what year and race was that again? mclaren were going through some major pains during that time...major pains.
Indy in 2005 I think.

presuming kimi is negotiating for a seat at McL he is hardly likely to be saying I am certain to continue next year , is he
he played his cards well to get out of ferrari , do you think he will suddenly forget how to do it now !

wonder who his agent is

much as I am an admirer of the doctor as motorcycle racer , had to have a smile at his comment that kimi isn't very fast ...based on his huge experience in F1 I suppose

Nabbed this off of Wikipedia from the F1 2010 page. I have to say my heart skipped when I saw it, although the source is total crap.

I would love to see those two in the Toyota next year, although I have my heart set on Kimi in the Mclaren.

KR:If I decide to go with a team next year, I am surely not going with any of the small teams, as that will never give me the chance to fight for the championship. And if I’m not able to fight for the championship, there will be no reason for me to be in Formula One.

What does he mean with "small team"?.For example up to this year Toyota has the biggest budget along with Ferrari and Mclaren but they never produced a car capable of race wins.Ironically Brawn & Redbull are fighting for championships this year with lesser budgets and resources. So who is "big" who is "small"?

Toyota seems to be the most boring team in whole F1 history. (are there any Toyota fans at all?) I hope Kimi signs for Brawn or Sauber.

Actually, I would say several teams have been more boring, like Arrows, or Jaguar, or Jordan. I always found BAR Honda to be quite boring as well.

Toyota has some fans in Germany and a huge amount of fans in Japan, since now that Honda is out Toyota is carrying the hopes of the Japanese nation.

Kimi at Sauber would be laughable, and I highly doubt he will sign there. Brawn is a possibility, but I doubt it will happen because it seems Rosberg is almost a sure bet to be there with Button next year. Also I doubt Brawn would be able to afford Kimi.

It would be ironic, and would also prove a lot if Kimi went to Toyota, but I doubt he will. As a Kimi fan, I don't want to see him in a McLaren even though it's the most logical choice.

I would predict Kimi at McLaren or that he goes into rallying.

Personal opinion; I was never excited by the Jordan team (when they were Jordan, not what they are now).

as for the Brawn, they've started the season with the car created with enormous amount of Honda's money.

they may not have the big budget at the time being and it could explain rather un-impressive speed of development.

What's more concerning is how much of a budget they have for next year, and how will that affect Brawn's car next year? Surely they will not be able to keep up with the top teams in development money and pace.
