I am speechless. It's disappointing at this point as Lando makes Max look better than he is.

Lando needs a mental coach
100%. It's all in his head.

You dont think he has?
If he has one he needs a better one, or maybe he just cant get the calmness that Piastri has.
I'm not sure this was pressure, just a mistakecwhen pushing.
He does make a lot more at critical times though.

I stand by the points I've made since the days he joined that he has everything except the one critical thing above all others that you can't teach.

Not sure that crash was anything about his mental state.

Granted I only watch the F1 live timing app but I never saw a laptime on Verstappens run that was to within 6 tenths to Piastri
Phew. In what is also news to me, I'm not and idiot.

At some point soon the narrative that we are far ahead of Red Bull and Merc will vanish like nonsense does.
I was talking about race pace though. I never doubted the threats in quali, as us McLaren fans know very well, new tyres mask cars weaknesses.
Yeah but RBs pace won't be much further back if at all and they are neck and neck. If Max qualifies ahead it's really bad news.

He does make mistakes. He's very fast when on it, but liable to mistakes when pushing.

I like him so will defend him, but this is just a balls up.

Good work by Piastri. Unlucky by the smallest of margins.

It is. Look forward to seeing the top speeds but we'll be slower on the straights.

Ahh well, well give it everything tomorrow for sure.

I'm not sure Piastri could have gone faster.

I do think Lando gets Pole if he doesn't bin it. He was faster put there of the team. Oh well.

I don`t understand this. How can a car lost half a second from P3 to Qualifying?

I don’t understand the logic behind overpushing literally the only corner where he has had a margin over everyone else the entire weekend. Go find time elsewhere mate, you had the job done in T4 already.

Something is way off with Lando, this is getting ridiculous.

The car was never dominant as the idiots lead us to believe. Dont forget Red Bull brought upgrades and things have become equal now. I am confident though that tomorrow Piastri will eat Max for breakfast.

You think he couldn't find a hundredth?

Of course he could, it was unfortunate, but we can still do it. Lando can go long tomorrow and play wingman for Oscar.
