Yuki for the third time in row has gone slower in Q3 than in Q2. He was also consistently slower on New Tires compared to Used tires. Would have been fifth with the Q2 time. The 2nd seat continues to be a mystery.

I think giving him one run in Q3 didn't help, could have done what Max did to give him a chance to make a small mistake and recover in 2nd run.
Going onboard he almost lost it on exit of T4 where Norris binned it, lost 0.6 in S1.
If it was like 0.1 in S2 and 0.2 in S3 he would be around Kimi, it's only two positions in the end.

If we can do this sort of tow whenever the margins are tight, and dirty air continues to be bad then it can add up to a big difference by the end of the year.

It's not that realistic. I've heard that Yuki messed up his lap which is why he may have been in a position to do it.

On most tracks, the tow becomes a distraction because it hinders the ideal preparation lap, either the straights are too short, or the driver miscalculates the braking point due to the extra speed and ends up losing time compared to the reference.

A fight for P2 with Russell and Lando sounds fine to me

of course in most track it's pointless, or in situations like last week in Bahrain where you are not fighting at the top; but in few situations it could prove useful, imagine being in contention for pole in Baku, a good tow may give you pole.

Yeah, I think Oscar can chill out for a bit, stay 1.5-2 secs behind Max out of DRS range (if George is not on his tail) and wait for Max's tires to fall off and then pass easily, kind of like Zandvoort last year with Lando.
