Very interested to see where we are all at when the track temps are high with the sun shining which I’m hoping for in Miami
Faster, hopefully lol

Brundle suggesting that the car is a tenth quicker than RB.

I think hot temps and high deg will stretch that.

Puts Oscars Q lap in perspective.

Nice one by Osc and a good recovery by Lando. LEC had super strong race, so not realistic to get on podium.
Oscar finishing only 2.7s ahead of VER in "dominant" Mcl car, can't wait for all the explanations how did that happen.

Something like Mclaren is 0.4-0.5 sec faster than RB but Max as a driver was 0.3-0.4 sec faster than Piastri.

Lando would have made it look easier I suspect, but Oscar is getting the job done. 3 wins now so early!
Can never count out Max, but I think we are looking at our champion if Lando messes up 3 more races.
For Sure!!

Nope! The Mclaren is 1 second faster. The Mercedes and Ferrari fit inside the 1 second. look on Tsunoda for the true performance.

Miami will give some answers. There's no night shade to cool things down, track temps will be high throughout the entire race. If McLaren doesn't win by a landslide, then all this "unfair advantage" has to be some free practice fiasco, with either McLaren going full beans prematurely, or the others running extra conservative.

I really don’t want to get into the what ifs and page long debates  but I think Lando would have won that race IF he secured pole. He didn’t so he made a costly mistake so Oscar won. Simple.

Top drive from Oscar, showed guts sticking to his guns at the start. Not a dig at Lando, but I feel he'd have jumped out of the way of Max and radioed in saying "He forced me off!" Oscar doesn't get intimidated it seems. But a nice recovery from Lando, strong stint on the hards, but his back and forth with Lewis cost him 3rd place I feel. He was losing like a second during that duel. It took him too long to try a different approach.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Another race with little to no degradation.

Great work by Oscar.

First stint in dirty air was very hard, impressive he could keep it as close as for long.

Norris had a good run, no luck with safety cars but good pace. Only complaint I have is how Hamilton kept him for two three laps because he was willing to hurt both of their races. The team maybe could have kept Norris longer to get to softs but

I am very happy Verstappen got a penalty for his unfair racing tactic of letting off his brakes. A shame he didn't lose another position as this type of racing is really not fair and will lead to crashes and is bad for F1.

Oh and Oscar once again showing his unorthodox overtaking skills. I know he had big tyre offset to Hamilton but we saw Max get stuck behind Hamilton for a lap with the same offset.

Each has their qualities. Lando would have had stronger race pace. In the last stint, Oscar seemed a little weak near the end. He voice also sounded like he was nervous about Max closing in. Lando tends to have a deeper reserve of pace and is more sure of himself when leading in clean air. Piastri is stronger in the high stakes moments and when fighting.
Max seemed pissed on the podium. He can't play mind games with Oscar like he does Lando. Oscar has a win in the mental game and it will help him against Max as the season gets nastier, because it will!

I’m also very interested to see how everyone performs at high downforce/ high drag. Mclaren were supreme under those conditions last season.

I got the impression Norris' race pace was 1-2 tenths better than Piastri's today

May be, but i believe we didnt really see Piastri’s pace. First stint was behind Max, and then in the second stint he saved his tyres, i guess. In the last lap he run an easy 1:32:2

Well its great news for the season. No one wants to see Mclaren dominate. Hopefully our worst fears have been put to bed.
