Why should Russel go to RBR?
Current Red Bull isn’t better than the Mercedes and we all feel that 2026 will be a disaster for Red Bull

I don't think Russell particularly wants to go to RedBull, but it might be his best option if he finds himself out of Mercedes.

Why RB will want Russel really? I mean what he has shown in comparison to Max and i don't speak for championships now. He is above average and that's it, Max is a generation talent and can only be replaced with an equal or a bit less equal like Leclerc for example.
I really don't get all the praise for Russel really and i like the guy but he needs to show some exceptional driving to up his status.

I don’t think there is disagreement about the cars issues. Horner’s role is not the same as Max’s. Horner has a job to maintain morale by praising the work that is being done, and to make Red Bull look good in the media by hyping the small wins and defending his drivers no matter what.

The car looked quite good in the last stint from onboards, especially in the slow corners ( T1 and T2 and last corner). All over the curb in T2 in that stint. On Friday it was not like this. The car seemed softer than usual.

We will see, I think Jeddah was just a combination of Max, setup luck and track.

Personally I really care more about the fact the RBR could well follow the McL, but I agree with the issue of the FIA inconsistency and dumb/blunt reasoning.

Looking at Palmer's analysis on F1 TV it seems that F1 Tempo traces are not accurate, or at least not for the first lap. Maybe the issue is that because Max is slightly ahead, he brakes slightly earlier by distance from his starting spot but that effectively they brake at the same position. In the Palmer video he shows that Max carried more speed through that corner than he did on Q3 pole lap.

I read that the weight distribution change Red Bull introduced with their Jeddah update allowed them to run softer suspension settings, which the car hadn’t worked well with before. It definitely looks better on track now.

Which makes sense, because on single push laps they sacrifice T1 for a good exit off T2, so they carry more speed on the straight after T2.
