I put £12 pound on button to win the world champs the day after their first proper test and managed to get in there before the odds tumbled too much. Just collected my £612 :)

Go button:)

Well Well Well, another great 5th place WDC drive(2 years in a row)... this asinine points system has to be gotten rid of, A Champion is a Winner(like JB did 6 times this year)... JB is a deserving champion... but not because of today's 5th place run, but because of his 6 early season wins... DDD aided as they may be.

Webber should have been penalised for blocking Kimi and causing an accident.

Same with Kobayashi.

Sutil has driven like an idiot this year, but that accident was totally Truilli's fault... I think JT is feeling the presuure of his career slipping away.

JB looked terrible stuck behind Kobayashi, and only passed him after complaining on the radio and getting the stewards to help him out... JB's drive today was not nearly as good as many of you claim, actually it was piss poor, almost as bad as Rubens.

Kubica had a great race, it must be said, only bested by Hamilton & Mclaren who were spectacular in strategy and driving, but McLaren(not Kovi) should be fined big time for that pit lane incident.

A great race by Kimi all things considered.

Rubens tried to block HAmilton and paid the price with a cut down tire, the championship points permutations were over at that point, but this is something that needs to stop, it is entirely too dangerous as we saw with KAzoo's crash.

Incredible...

Nick Heidfeld: DNF (retired after 21 laps with no fuel)

“...I was due for my first pit stop. I wondered how quick the car was and soon I received the call to save fuel and to save more fuel, but it was too late. I ran dry in turn 8...”

Mario Theissen: “...Unfortunately the fuel rig didn’t work at Nick’s pit stop"...

This and another fuel ring down (Heikki Pitstop) makes next year ban really rational.

He had the tyre vibrations before Hamilton came onto him. Hamilton hit the front tyres but the puncture was on the rear.. so it was just a bad tyre.

I must of been watching a differant race. The Toyota has more wing so he had the speed in the slow section and JB could not get the speed on the last corner for the straight. He made Some great moves and drove a Fantastic race. Ok he didnt win, but he didnt need too.

RB just seem to switch off in the middle stint.

HAmilton front wing hit Rubens left rear, it was quite clear and it also damaged Hamilton's wing, I only brought it up because it was 1 of many examples of poor blocking today which must be corrected/penalized. If you want to hold an inside line to make the passer go around the out side then do it, but not when he right next to/directly behind you.

Interesting Quali and then the race today. For me the titles were decided by the FIA decision to allow double diffusors. The RBR was the better car IMO. Vettel would have been a worthy champ as well. It went against them at the green table for some very dubious reasons. But all those ifs are history. Brawn pulls off an incredible stunt to take over that team free of charge, get himself Merc engines, win the first half season and have the luck that all the races are split to many other winners. It is a fairy tale which I belive will continue very soon as the Merc works team. The Red Bulls will come back strong next year and I can't wait for the next season to see that unfold. Button made hay while the sun shone and deserves the title for making the least number of mistakes in a superior car. Next year his weakness in qualifying will probably prevent him from doing it again. Rubens was true to his old self and never won a race in Brazil. I guess he never will.
Yeah I agree that Red Bull had the better car they were just unlucky firstly with the DDD loophole then with the reliability of the engines.
But bright times ahead surely next year as RBR have a very strong platform to build upon and Ferrari & Mclaren will be right back at the top so next year's competition for victories could be really fierce and intruiging.
I'm pretty sure Vettel will have more opportunities to challenge for the WDC this year he will have learnt alot about himself as a driver and he'll surely be much improved next year as he will be looking to fight with the bigger guns i.e
THE BOSS MR 6 TENTHS THE ICEMAN(Who was on fire today literally!) & Possibly Britney(If Brawn sign him up

On speedTV they played JB's cries/rants over the radio about Kobayashi, and very soon after Kobay pretty much let him thru... many people passed Kobay today, but JB took the longest to do it. He just does not have the balls to pass like FA & LH & KR do, and not just today when he didnt want to lose points because of this stupid points racing.

Yeah behind Kobayashi he wasn't at all hustling him hard he should've done it way earlier and could've potentially finished higher.
But his conservativeness is understandable in a sense but if it was Lewis or Kimi they would've stuck it down the inside quite quickly and pulled away.

Your rants are inconsquential.

JB did enough for WDC and therefore wins any argument by default.
You fail.

Thanks for playing.

EDIT: You do realise that the radio is played on the World feed, so everyone heard it.

Hed definitely is a clinical passer, but i don't have much ratings for his passes today; they were pretty weak if we consider who he was passing. He did it when it counted so have to respect that. Who did he pass really?
Grosjean, alguashari, Kobayashi..? a bunch oh noobs.
Things would have been more interesting had seasoned drivers like Alonso, Truli, Sutil were still in the race; not a single point for Button, they would have held him back. He would have to wait till the next race! That accident and the safety car really boded well for Button, thanks a lot to Webber for blocking kimi LOL. I hate it when braking the rules cause accidents, kind of reminds me of spa with kimi running off and coming over on bob.
For Sure!!

Who did the better drive today? Vettel or Hamilton?
Vettel was showing his greenness when he was trying to pass the brawn and heidfield?
He really needs to learn how to pass, he would have been on podium instead.
His speed seems to come from his superior car, where as hamilton had half the car and beat him to the points. Don't want to turn the thread to a driver comparo but LH really surprised me today, 17th to 3rd in what is pretty much the 5th fastest car on the grid at that moment. The faster ones being the RBR the Brawn, the BMW, and the Toyota.
For Sure!!

Great race for Webber even though no one gave him any camera time. Button won, all you whiny girls need to shut your mouths about being boring, too easy , diffuser crap, and this and that.

Some of you can't be satisfied and I wish you'd just go away. Always have something to bitch about. So where are all the McLaren apologists going to come up with McLaren not getting a penalty for unsafe release and causing another competitors car to burst into flame? You aren't because it's the so called 'Boss' team. You may say it out loud, but you don't mean it. Bitch about that like everyone did when Ferrari did it.

I'm sure that Vettel having an armed hand grenade behind him had nothing to do with his driving? Lewis is not God.
