I knew I saw a new "hole" in the diffuser....The "spoon" actually looks deeper but may be a visual trick because of the bridge.horse wrote:Looking at the images, I would say the diffuser central channel changed in Singapore. You can see the curved section has been bridged above the starter hole and this can been seen in the later pictures also.
It seems to me that on the bottom right of the diffuser there is pavement shown in the picture that looks exactly like part of the difusser/endplate..horse wrote:Regards the asymmetric end fence at Interlagos, this appears a trick of the light. The "bent back section" on the right top edge of the diffuser is reflecting white which makes it appear to be missing. This makes the end part appear larger than the one on the left hand side.
Oh, if that is the part they are talking about then I agree with TRICKLE69. That greyness is coming from beyond the rear wheel (i.e the pavement) and if it were part of the diffuser then I assume that would contravene the minimum height restrictions(TRICKLE69 wrote:It seems to me that on the bottom right of the diffuser there is pavement shown in the picture that looks exactly like part of the difusser/endplate..

I think that the variation is due to the different brake requirements of the two tracks. I am not sure if Button and Rubens were using the same rotors.axle wrote:TRICKLE69 wrote:FRONT BRAKES JAPAN
Could it be that 1 is Button's and 1 is Ruben's? As they like different rotors don't they?
