As our Moderator, Ciro, has attempted to point out, this thread is not for discussing anything but the technical development of the car.
Please listen, and let this post be a line in the sand, thanks.
looking at the bottom pic of the front brake assembly it seems there is a secodary air intake feeding air to the brake caliper... I haven't noticed any discussion of this in this, or other threads, (but accept I m ight have missed it!)... is this unique to Macca??bar555 wrote:EXHAUSTS - SINGAPORE

I'm also curious as to what all the sensors are.Mikey_s wrote:Also... there are a lot of sensors feeding through hthe upper wishbone - anyone care to speculate on what these are measuring... Temperature is a obvious candidate, wear of the disc/calipers another... but there seem to be planty of sensors there...
Oh yes, there's the big air scoop and below there is a little pencil thin periscope of an air duct. I wonnder what that is for.Mikey_s wrote:looking at the bottom pic of the front brake assembly it seems there is a secodary air intake feeding air to the brake caliper... There would also be an receiver for a "pickup" of the internal tire air pressure located in this area, as it's transmitted by wireless through the wheel... the "accurate" range for the receiver is 2 feet unless that has been improved in recent years and can be put on the chassis, some 3.5 feet away.goony wrote:wheel speed brake wear and temp
if u can find sum pics of the mirrors we had thermal imaging cams in them for a time to check tyre temp on the go
