The new Renault 2003 contender, aimed at helping the French team move up the grid is ready to start with track testing within a week. While most other teams are still finishing the parts of their next year's car, Renault has made it all ready to start track testing.
"The car, frame, gear box and engine, are finished," said Patrick Faure, President of Renault F1. “It will be ready by next week."
The French team will thereby, with still one race to go after the USGP, start preparations for the new season as of November.
