Is the book realy so good to pay 150€?
What it's worth depends on what you are doing, if it saves you making an expensive design mistake - it's cheap.
Personally, I would start with:
The Carroll Smith collection - starting with Engineer to Win, Tune to Win & Prepare to Win; really good nuts and bolts stuff (he also has a book about nuts & bolts ) - entertaining to read and written so that a dope like me can understand. I doubt if you could buy better advice anywhere at any price.
Race Car Engineering and Mechanics by Paul Van Valkenburg is very good and takes you deeper into the mathematics of it all. This book was harder for a dope like me to understand . Many people say that this book is the bible of chassis tuning...........

On my formula team, we refer to RCVD as "The Book", and references to the Bible are commonplace.
If you are really serious about suspension design/vehicle dynamics and are able to understand it, nothing beats Milliken. Don't buy it just because you are interested though. Its just too technical for the casual reader.
Race Car Vehicle Dynamics is easily worth the price tag! Its brilliant, in depth and logical. Rowleys Race Car Engineering book is also excellent, although you have to import it from canada.
You should not pay that much for RCVD. The publisher SAE sells the book for 100 dollars, if you are a student member (fee is only 10 dollars a year) you get a 20% discount. So membership and book will cost you 90 dollars. Don't forget that this is without shipping, but it will never be as expensive as 150€.
