Curious, the results from 09 tell a different story. Yes, he had his off moments, but despite that he still came second and got more points than Webber.

As they say in many sports, the end of season table doesn't lie.

Yes Vettel was clearly better than Webber in 2009. I am not even a Webber fan to any extent but he showed he can really put up a fight if he has to; I like that kind of driving.
2010 may have different circumstances. I am not underestimating Vettel, just trying to place him in the thick of things with more serious competition this time around.
For Sure!!

Thanks for posting this. I know the English is a bit of a pain but the clip is very personal and adresses many questions. Michael comes across quite relaxed. He is instantly building rapport with the team and that should be a good thing.

You're welcome.

I think he belongs with Ross Brawn, as simple as that. He was all alone at Ferrari, as the dream team has been decimated starting at the end of 2006. And to be honest di Montezemolo seems like a prick and Domenicali like a push over.

Schumacher + Brawn = WIN

OH I M JUST OVER THE MOON!!!

YES THE REAL BOSS IS BACK!!!

Brawn + Schumacher: The Legend Continues

Seriously nobody knows if he will perform at his peek and whether the Merc will be a title-winning car. I just hope everything turns out alright. As I said before he'd better take the Championship, at least be seriously competing for it until the very end!

Poor Rosberg... he's going to be shadowed by Schumacher's presence that's for sure. Despite some of you thinking otherwise, IMO he's done a very solid job at Williams . I still remember he came out, scored points and took fastest lap in his first race, and this year he constantly got into the points with a below-par Williams. Plus he has this modest and likable personality. I've always wanted to see him in top machinery. He'll get that, hopefully, next season, but in the form of a second driver...

But what the heck the REAL BOSS IS BACK!!!

Oh it's just a fan thing...

Alonso and Hamilton are two proven drivers who are probably the most talented and complete ones on the current grid. But as a fan I just hope Schumi beat the hell out of them!

Yeah can't wait for the next season, can we?

Why Did Schumacher Leave Ferrari?

Post

After reading what MS said about his hunger and energy to come out of retirement and challenge himself for another championship. I cant help but to wonder why MS didnt want to stick around to race with Ferrari?

The reason given by Ferrari was that they already have Massa and Alonso for 2010, hence they cant have MS. To me, this is cant be the truth because Alonso contract with Ferrari was brought forward by a year and they are the first to know MS's intention to come out of retirement.

I am guessing that MS doesnt have very good confident about Ferrari potential for next year hence choose to reunite with Ross to drive with Merc instead.

I must have escaped your attention that there is a a long thread which discusses all aspects of the Schumacher come back. I'm sure it will be an excellent platform to investigate this intriguing question as well. Perhaps the mods can fuse the two threads?

I'm thinking that Rueben's is really glad he has exited (was punted from) the premises.
