So I got some CFD analysis.
First I want to say thanks again to bigoudi who made the analysis.
The car was slightly simplified to save time. Air velocity was set to 30 m/s

love those end plates, especially the way the first plane connects, can you show a detail pic of it? i really do ont understand how it connects :p

Maybe you can go for a new rear diffuser? Yesterday i came up with using triangular shapes, maybe it is an idea?
The diffuser afterall is the place where the best gains can be made.

Jes, I am working on my new diffuser at the moment, but lacking some inspiration. Maybe you can explane your idea, perhaps some sketches

Hey I just downloaded your 3D racecar.
You have made a really great work and nice that you provide it as 3d pdf =D>
The CFD analysis is also really nice. I like to see this big wave behind the car.
Is it possible to make also a 3d pdf of the simulations results?

well, the idea is pretty simple, just a triangular shape as a deck, on the inside it connects the crashbox at the top, so it has a huge volume. Then in that hole you can make extra decks etc.

I am currently busy with a new floor for my car with that idea(i might make a topic just like this).

I had modded someone elses car for 09 and just got bored so I modded my difuser a tad. Changed it into a TDD and left the old one for comparison.

What color are you going to flavor that thing with tonn?
I wanted to ask if the computer windtunnel program could
flow two cars at once as in "nose to tail".
Thats something i'd really like to see.

I think, I will leave it gray.
I guess doing "nose to tail" test will need some heavy computer power. So I belive that will need more professional level of engineering.

I dont know much about the computer world, but
it would probably impossible to do it in a real wind tunnel,
It would have to be a source of some bit of useful knowledge.

Doubt ti would be impossible, Hell I dare to say with 100 dollars and 2 models I can fabricate a DIY multi car windtunel (most likely a watertunnel)

Glad to see that my pictures found spectators. Thanks again to Tonn for the model.Really easy to mesh.

I made it without symmetry BC in order to precisely take 3D vortices. But with keeping this mesh quality and the model that I already have, I should be able to create two half model, simulating overtaking in stationnary conditions. That's what you mean by "nose to tail" ?

Regarding my computer capacity, it should pass.

It would be really interesting to see the flow what is generated by following someone.
