Door handle on car - Help, please

when i sit in my car and press the lock in the car locks both doors, now its only locking the drivers and passengers wont lock unless i manuall lock it but then will not unlock when i unlock drivers side, ne idears? thanks

i have a fiesta 2007 When u sit in the car and press the drivers side handle in to lock the doors on the car, now open the drivers door from inside and press the handle in their should be resiatnce it wont lock ye? ok now open passesnger side and does it have resisatance or does it lock? thank you

Don't worry, adam2007, it's already moved. Great video, Ian P., I'm still laughing, thanks.

I imagine that the relay that locks the passenger door is damaged, or the cable that moves the lock button is cracked. Read here:

"I had a very similar fault on my wife's 1990 Fiesta and she couldn't get in but could lock the door. The problem was that the plastic tube in which the operating cable from the key lock to the "actual lock" ie the one that holds the door shut had cracked allowing it to flex so that turning the key failed to operate the actual lock. Dead cheap to fix and only a few minutes work.
