Williams FW32 Cosworth

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Exhaust seems to exit like the ferrari to me. This is a carbon copy redbull with Brawn side pod intakes.
Mclaren still have a more trim waist line. These side pods are shorter from the side view, but i don't think it is as narrow from the top like the Mclaren.

I don't see much difference between this and the Ferrari either. The nose is almost the same thing aside from the v bumps.
For Sure!!

it's just a phase, they'll grow out of it.

The rear of the car and sidepods look too tight
How they managed to put fuel tank in there?

is it just me, or the new Cosworth V8 sounds a bit different to other F1 engines? More like LMP1 Zytek or something. Maybe it's just because they don't rev it high enough though.

Yeah, I had the same impression although we need direct comparison.

Doesn't sound like an F1 to me either.

It is attachet to the end plates only. This was common a few years ago, until ferrari used the central mounting sistem and most other teams folloved.

It wasn't revving anywhere near 18,000 in that video - don't worry...it'll scream :P

Looks like they have been running around the Stowe cuircit at silverstone. We know what happened to the last team to conduct a shakedown arround that track.

From what i can see, it looks as if Williams have been shaking down at least 2 cars over the last couple of days. If they have been there for 2 days, id say they could be the first team to have 2 fully shaken down cars for their drivers to have their own car at testing, with posibly the last (or at least 3rd raceable car going on Williams trends from the last 2 seasons) car getting shaken down at Barcelona on the penultimate day of testing most probably.

Williams are in good shape, or at least in the best shape so far of all the teams.
