Interesting how the front wing pillars go backwards unlike one's of any F1 car for the last... decade(?).

I always thought something was missing from the long list of improbable candidates mentioned by Peter Widsor. Although Arnold has become too American so they can't have him.

Yep. Do you like mayonese, mustard or ketchup better?

Engine cover is very Merc-like, The rest just seems pretty mundane, no splitter up front, wing wrong way around & the exhausts look pretty short.

Are there any real benefits to go for coil springs and compromise the DDD? What was wrong leaf springs then? =)

Is it just me or is that a rod end on the inboard end of the front lower wishbone?

The Merc fin is very distinctive, and now we have an identical one from USF1!

Odd front wing mounts

Well on the bright side they won't break the damn thing every time they get close to another car.

That driver needs a shin splint... I don't think he'll be ready to go at Bahrain even if the car is. It looks like RCE might have done some slicing in photoshop, themselves. :)

That USF-at-wa driver looks awfully skinny to me, who could that be? Not Montoya is it?

And what's with that multi-color exhaust?

Scarbs a.k.a The Sage has posted this on his twittar:

USF1: by using the transverse gearbox, the case can be shorter, creating more space under the differential

USF1: Stacking the gear shafts one a top the other motorcycle style, with a intermediate gear driving the differential
This is wider solution, but has some aero benefits. The diffuser can raise up steeper under the gearbox

So from that, I have a question: Why is it potentially 'better' to have more space for the diff? Better control?

This is reminisescant of the recent article in Formula 1 mag that has a complete xray'd Toyota.

If you haven't seen it, it's awesome.
