Edit:
I meant, I hear the Mercedes has too much weight to the front.
Even if they change the diffuser it would most likely be a subtle revision and not something drastically different. It is a very rare occurrence that a team drastically changes their car or unveils some ground breaking innovation just before the first race. Any major change would take a long time for other teams to copy, so it is much better for the team to just get on with testing it as soon as they are able so that they can extract the most from it.axle wrote:Just have to add, I will laugh my socks off if the diffuser is the same/very similar in Barca as it has been so far... so many are so adament there is a big change coming...
even a 1%change would be a huge move of parts around and totally new approaches in terms of layout and shape of the radiators.djones wrote:I guess even if its helps move 1% of weight, its still 1% which is quite a lot in F1 terms.
Maybe they are just angling them a bit more or something to undercut the side pods further.
Truth is we will never know - which is a shame.
Every team says that every year, and every year those with short memories get their panties in a twist. What you always end up with is variations on the theme to make the wings specific to the track, small updates, etc.JohnsonEvilTwin wrote:Can we go by what Brawn has actually said?

a lot easier...ISLAMATRON wrote:with 15kg of extra ballast this year moving the cg is easier than a 3 sec tire change pit stop
