Williams FW32 Cosworth

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Wow that wingtip is low. I think it is a state of flex though judging by the bend.

Nice view of the wing slot air intake without the shark fin.
Engine cover intakes must use something in the fin to turn off flow when fitted, to increase top speed?

It looks like theve softened the compression end to induce body roll, leaving the shark fin out would help promote this too. What ever or why they appear to have it
rooting pretty good. Could be a rain setup too maybe?

BAR555, do you have comparative photo's of the diffusers as I've not noticed a change?!

Also, is the rear bodywork "modification" including the testing of a Redbullesq fin?

1.Taller catenary shaped central section.
2.Larger hole
3.The outer side tunnel was reduced in volume by moving the side wall closer to the vertical fence . The horizontal section has been analogously increased to reduce rear end pitch sensitivity .
4.The small fin , which is attached on the vertical outer diffuser side wall , has been redesigned and a thin wire connects it with the rear wing’s endplate lower tip

Has Williams stopped to put the Senna S logo on the inside of the front wing mounts?

I think it's now on the top of the FIA standard wing between the pillars, so just out of shot on that picture.
