Renault R30

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Actually, the red lipstick is to distinguish which assemblies are Kubica's from Petrov's.

Looks like the drivers will be running different wings in Bahrain..

There are numbers on noses. 11 Kubica, 12 Petrov

Impressive top speed from Renault today, and also nice job from Vitaly, maybe one of those guys like Kobayashi who find F1 easier than the lower formulae.

Could be a bit of a sleeper here..

They sure do, it's mandated by the rules I think (sure someone will correct me if i am wrong!)

One car must have a flurescent yellow mark, the other must have a flurescent orange/red one. Although, I thought it had to be on the FIA camera mount around the airbox, didnt know about the nose.

Wow, I am continually amazed at the level of intricate detail the front wings are showing. Fantastic pics. Thanks for posting.

looks like the cascade isn't held up by the endplate at all... it's suspended at the middle of the wing

I think you'll find that it is connected just in front of the "E" in RENAULT.
