Easy killer. Just some gentle kidding, no need to get your undies in a bunch.
It's just that EVERYONE knows ALL the NEW TEAMS are severely lacking in aero downforce and efficiency.

Congrats to Lotus on being the only one of the new teams to get a car to the finish on their GP debut.

Roll on Barcelona to see what this car can really can do.

Lotus have about half a dozen things coming for Malaysia, mainly thins to do with Suspension and mechanical parts Mike Gascgoyne said on the BBC1 F1 Forum after the race on the red button. He said this would hopefully put them in a better posistion. I think this could be bringing them arround a full 25% of performance gains, whitch on my Bahrain figures, 25% of gains on your car will bring arround 1% of gain on a lap time, whitch is arround 1.141 seconds at Bahrain.

I think the Lotus car is gonna have about 75% of a gain by the time they come back to Europe as they are currently designing and building their own gearbox and hydrolic system, whitch will give them a 25% gain and the packaging at the rear end with the detain of the floor and DDD providing another 25%, this will put them right into the mix with BMW Sauber-Ferarri, STR-Ferarri posibly Renault and Williams.

Im thinking they could have up to 3.5 seconds of a gain by the time Lotus come to Barcelona. So far they have got a good car capable of going places. They have the right people at thye helm, the T127 could have the most performance gain at the end of the season. One car i have marked for my 2010 report card already, im impressed at current.

Mike Gascoiyne is a brilliant motivator with huge experience.
I do not know if he has sufficient ability to think outside the box, or whether there are people on the team with enough imagination to do so.
I realy do hope so, because the Lotus name deserves to come back and kick Ferrari ass. It is going to take time amd patience.

The exhaust has something running vertically inside of it, what's the purpose of that? A valve?
