4s. Not fast enough. They say less than 3 is possible. Might be "the perfect stop".

Jacque is saying that the new tyre compound is more slippery than last year. So teh cars are sliding around more, leaving nice big black 11s. The cars are also running "high" so they're above their optimum aero profile, adding to the problem. It'll also get "worse".

Pedro is now out. We'll find out soon as to why.

being told Alonso is now "charging".
He's now staying really wide down the straight. Possibly over-heating the tyres? Seb race engineer says that Alonso will burn up his tyres chasing him down.
Nice to see a fight for P1 possibly in the running anyway.

Pedro says: Hydraulic problem.
Standard excuse as F1 cars are controlled heavily with hydraulics. So essentially, could be anything.

Massa's engineer was saying the drivers need to come off the throttle before they brake.
Anthony concurs. Crofty saying he asked him before.

and now Vettel has a problem! Loss of power!

Ya, Vettel is haemorrhaging time!
Expect a rapid overtake from Lewis, not sure if it'll be as easy as Alonso's one. Which seemed like a quick nip.

Exhaust failure from the Team Radio. Impossible to fix.

Problem with Massa's right barge-board? Massa's engineer pointing something out.
Hamilton has a "vibration" in the front <-- bit old that one.

Alonso is now storming into the lead. Vettel hopefully, to keep 5th. Doubtful to keep 4th now.

@zgred: darn you! updating too quickly

Lotus is the only new team still going. Tough little car that, only problem is hydraulic in Jarnos car.

Buemi is now out.

lol @ Vettel stops car not long after the finish line.

Also: Vettel managed to keep 4th, somehow his speed went up in the few laps before the end.

All in all. Decent first race. Too many cars dropped out. However that's to be expected with new rules and at the first race.
The overtaking, looked to be more, but was too easy on the most part. (I was never a proponent of increasing overtaking). Maybe it was all down to the cars breaking down. Hmmm.

What would be interesting to know is: How much fuel is left in the tanks?
