F1 management Simulator

I've been contemplating designing a web based multiplayer Racing management simulator for some time. I've finally decided to do it using games like 'F1 Manager by Ea' and 'Grandprix Manager' by microprose as inspiration. THis is not fantasy racing in the classic sense, it will have imaginary drivers, manufacturers, etc. This will all be open sourced, so there's no attempt at making profit. I'm just doing this for love of racing and as a fun project. I was wondering if anyone would like to contribute in the planning /design of this project. It will be hosted on my own server and all coorespondance will be on a closed mailing list that I control. If anyone is interested, please drop me a line at apagel@themachinecult.com

well, it's a good idea. However, i think i've seen a lots of game like this in the net. instead of making racing management, why not playing an F1 stock game. I never seen this before, but if you made it first, then it is first. The other imaginary stock game, i've know was based on NBA, golf tournament, and soccer, but never saw F1.
