Dear F1 Technical
My name is Oisin Mc Hugh. I am part of a team taking part in the Formula 1 in Schools Challenge. We recently passed the Regional Finals in Dublin and will be competing in the National Finals on 29th April. As part of this we must design and make our own F1 model car, and compete in many races.
We would love to have your advice on the issue of ball bearings. We are going to use them but are not sure about which to use: ceramic, metal or plastic. Also we would like to know which way we shold use them: in the wheels have the axle fixed in the body, or not have them in the wheels and use a body insert for the axles.
