He's just explaining how much of a jerk he was even back when he was a kart racer.

The scene takes place at Schu's home circuit in Kerpen.
He explains why he starts for Luxembourg instead of Germany. He didn't have to qualify for the world championship because he was the only starter there. And he was allowed to start races from the age of 10 instead of 14 in Germany. The reporter asks him how this came about. Schu answers that it was his sponsors' idea.

So what do we learn? Schu's career as a cheater started a lot earlier than most people think... [-(
