Nice to see Buemi safe and the camera guy had his wits about him and his head on a swivel. Strange failure and I'm hoping it was a one off and nothing seriously wrong with Torro Rossos car.

Thanks for your ever so positive contributions ISLAMATRON.

On topic now?

SpeedTV isn't airing FP3 nor could I find any webstreams.

All I have is live timing and the Autsport commentary.

I like how Kubica is fighting it out with the three top teams.

If Webber is 2 tenths ahead, expect Vettel to pole by a 5 tenths gap. Cause when redbull start quali.. it aint gonna be pretty for the other teams who cant quali well....

Another pole for Vettel; followed by Webber in P2 and Alonso in P3.

Mercedes have a bitter sweet result. Nico beat the McLaren boys with the old rear wing and Michael goes P9 with the new wing. I was hoping that Merc was gambling with a wet set up on Michael's car but it seems to be all set up.

Great qualifying once again by Vettel. Mark Webber must be a bit depressed with the results. I was surprised to see Button faster than Hamilton and look forward to the story behind that.

Alonso was visually depressed about the pace of his car. He said that the Ferrari is better in race pace but the facts so far have not supported a superior Ferrari race pace over the Red Bull.

Sutil and Kubica were once again showing strong over their team mates and got good grid positions.

Hülkenberg and Liuzzi were soundly beaten by their team mates. While the Hulk can claim inexperience Liuzzi must be in trouble. There are probably other drivers who are eyeing his seat with better potential.

Glock did the best job of the new team drivers and one hopes the Virgin can make it to the end in that position but the undersized fuel tank will probably let them down or reliability will interfere. Senna got the upper hand on Chandhok which wasn't always the case at Hispania.

With the weather dealing new cards tomorrow we could be looking at a good race.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
