Cheap or free web designs

Post

A little help needed here.

I need a simple two or three page website for sales. How do I set one up? I have seen freeware sites but their graphics screw me up. I need something in the point-and-click variety. Any Ideas?

Thanks.

Ted, webmonkey.com has amazing free tutorials for simple HTML.

You should be able to put together a site in no time with that site. It will hold your hand all the way through.

I am also able to make a simple site as well, if you are still stuck. it would actually be good practice for me as I am in a Webmaster course right now, doing my Java programming, but I am burying my nose in HTML as well getting ready for that course.

EDIT: I might have misread your requirements, are you looking for an all in one design and host?

Thanks, Giblet! Yeah, I need a host, too. Didn't know there were all in ones. What would you reccomend?

Making online sale and easy-to-add items site, isn't as easy as it is described by those who offer such "finished" sites.

It has to be modified to match specific demands you have, and that usually requires a programmer, and a lot of time and testing.

I have no idea what you're up to, but it requires much more work than it might appear at first.

What manchild said.

If your sales site just needs a listing with pics, then that is easy. If it needs interactivity, it becomes the realm of web programmers, as opposed to web site designers.

Much can be done with flash, which is somewhere in between. It's more of a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) way to design, but it has it's own bag of hurt to go with it as well.

I guess some more specifics of what you intend this site to do would make all the difference in the answer you get.
