He is still half a second slower than Hamilton in the races though so he hasn't got a useful advantage.

but his intensity was what struck me the most and has left a lasting impression on me.
I believe you misunderstand me..Ever watch the Olympic snowboarders from the U.S.?
Very intense about their sport but very laid back as to indulging in the tension and stress...Trust me Vettel wants to win,, but, much like Kimi, not if it's no fun.

And any comparison of Vettel to the Schumacher of old is ludacris..When have you seen Vettel willing to kill someone to win? Mike did almost every other race. Seb would not run his brother to the wall at 180 MPH as Mikey did with Ralf?..when have you seen him try to run someone off track at close to 200 mph as Mikey did with Mika?

I withdraw my previous praising statement. Kleine prick just might have ruined title chances for both constructors and driver's championship. That was selfish, arrogant move. Luckily Webber will have his say within the team, and so will D.M. If I was team owner, I'd offer him status of second driver till the end of season as a probation period, and if team doesn't win both titles just drop him. Take it or beat it.

So much for the Vettel is a nice humble kid, wont hurt a fly, wont tell a lie.
Webber is owning his ass now, and he can't take the pressure.
I think he is overrated in terms of personality, and race craft. But i still regard him highly in terms of speed.
He is clearly less mature than any of the young drivers after today. Pissed me off when i saw him doing this wacko finger thing after he came out of the car in the gravel trap.
As if he was saying Webber is crazy.
For Sure!!

I've said the same thing for a while, Vettel seems to be amazing when he has clear track. He seems to be a bumbler when there are other cars around.

He really needs a drive where he carves through the field, so I can have a legitimate reason to vote on this topic.

I see we agree. I don't however think anything should be taken as how the person is immediately after an incident. Their adrenaline is high and their wits are not entirely about them in the very first moments after a crash or take out. Just about every driver no matter how seasoned has been guilty of saying or doing something similar that they would soon withdraw and regret.

On the verge of a great driver. Now if he can just get the red mist out of his helmet so he can see properly he'll become one.
