The Sauber is pretty bad for Kobayashi to go out in Q1.

Look for a thread about Ru invites. Some posters there might be in the know.

Button had some weird tires at some point, they looked like intermediates. What gives?

Prime I believe are the McLaren choice and option are the Red Bull choice. Not sure if that was the exact lap there. Checked twitter and nothing noted there.

Apologies, I mis-heard them. Moveable rear-wing not an SRW. Cheers for that.

Hamilton is impressive with the harder compound, if he can qualify at least on 3rd spot with those he will for sure have a very good chance of winning the race.

EDIT: Same for Alonso, I think only RB could get their best lap time on the super softs.

Weird, I didn't know that and the TV people were wondering like me.

Red Bulls, Rosberg and Renaults used options in Q2. Schumacher and the McLarens used primes. Webber changed on primes for the last 6 minutes of Q2. He probably used the opportunity to evaluate for Q3.

Schumacher got it completely wrong with the primes. He got traffic on his second run and cut a chicane in his last lap. P13 as reward for a big mistake in tyre choice.
