^^nice work dude, good sense of humor!
Who says that? From only ferrari it is nkown they will do it.Carlo's wrote:I'm waiting dor their EPD (Exhauts Powered Diffuser). McLaren, Ferrari, Williams and Mercedes will have this solution so Renault cannot be worse.
because you vant have any holes in the main diffuser apart from the starter holemith wrote:Could someone explain to me, why exhaust driven diffuser would be illegal next year? I thought, teems agreed to resign from second deck, but exhaust has nothing to do with it.
Not only Ferrari. Williams team also mentioned about working on this solution. Andrew Benson from BBC said that McLaren will introduce this system at Sliverstoe or in Germany. He also said that Renault works on it too.wesley123 wrote: Who says that? From only ferrari it is nkown they will do it.
It is same as with the red bull style humps on the nose, everyone kept saying it will be standard next year, well i have noticed that. Give an reason why they should mind an exhaust driven diffuser wich is illegal next year. and apart from that it is same like thew DDD, you have to have our car built for it, else it wont work perfectly, just like the F-Duct now. Do you really think that mclaren wich has the fastest dev pace of the all will mind to run an exhaust driven diffuser for 5 races wich consumes alot of time, i am pretty sure they aint going to do the same as ferrari and mercedes did. They can better focus on other things, like already shown
As at this date, any rule to ban the f-duct next year, does not exist. Moreover, thee is now talk in the FIA, that a blown rear wing, WILL be allowed, but this can only be used by an overtaking car, to aid passing. A leading car will not be allowed to use it to block an overtake. I don't know how it will be policed.korzeniow wrote:Not only Ferrari. Williams team also mentioned about working on this solution. If it gives benefit I don't see why teams shouldn't work on it. They work already on F-Duct and it's benned in next year too.
Ferrari team said thet they ere suprised how much benefit this Exhaust Feed Diffuser gives. I think other teams won't resist this temptation.
I thik they will waste it, it is similair as the F-Duct, a waste of time that only works properly when the car is designed for such an thing. For example it was an simple change, for ferrari you would need to relocate it all, the McLaren simply dont allow it, at least i doubt it will allow such an thing.korzeniow wrote:Not only Ferrari. Yes that's incrediblemarcush. wrote:I read somewhere (Motorsport-Total)that Renault is coming up with new parts for every GrandPrix in 2010 to an extend that in the years before this kind of step would have been possible only every 4 or 5 races...they claimed to be in the 8th iteration of front wing in the ninth race...
Contrary to this ..williams was unable to fix crashed front wings in the course of two weeks recently...makes you wonder how Renault is able to find steps considered worth producing real parts +have the recources to produce enough parts in a timespan where other teams not even are able to fill up their stock with existing development steps..???
my guess is they defined clear and precise development plan and are good enough to be able to stick to it without jumping back and forth. they did not i.e. , or at lest that's my impression, jump to "we do need F-tube right now" wagon and are just going their way.marcush. wrote:I read somewhere (Motorsport-Total)that Renault is coming up with new parts for every GrandPrix in 2010 to an extend that in the years before this kind of step would have been possible only every 4 or 5 races...they claimed to be in the 8th iteration of front wing in the ninth race...
