Jaguar confirms Klein

Post

Jaguar Racing has finalised its Formula 1 World Championship line-up with the addition of 20-year-old Austrian Christian Klien, who will partner Mark Webber next year.I think this move is because of the sponsor money by Red Bull.Love to see a bull on the engine cover of the r5 instead of a leaping cat.

hehe I don't think that will happen, still it's Jaguar, and they are proud to have a leaping cat.
Although... never say never again ;)

I think Klein will do well in '04 in Jaguar. His testing times were just a few tenths slower than Mark webber's. Plus, he does bring a sponsor deal of Red Bull worth around $12 million to Jaguar. But testing times are an unreliable indicator of the season ahead ofr a certain team or Jaguar, I hope Jaguar won't dump Klein just as they did with Pizzonia in'03.

yes that is my only fear of Jag taking on Klein. His performance does seem to be very good and he does seem to have an OLD head on young shoulders, I just hope they give him time to settle in. But I suppose they could always fall back on Wilson, like they did last year. :(
